We all have been there. The few days before Christmas and you think you got everyone covered, then something pops up or a name you missed. So you panic!

I've had a few months reviewing a few items that I feel would make great gifts...and all can be ordered online and shipped!

1st: Pizza Box - Now, I love pizza and I have my local favorites. But we all have those nights where you need something quick. Insert my favorite frozen pizza - Talia Di Napoli. You can order a variety for your parents and have them delivered. Trust me, this will be a favorite for all. Worth every penny!

2nd: Storyworth - My sisters and I got my mom and dad both a subscription to Storyworth and they are nearly done. Each week they have been answering questions about their life. This is something you can do for a parent or grandparent and what is great, after a year, it is turned into a book that you get + others can order copies!

For Uncles or Brothers - A way to every man's heart is their stomach, so let's not think to hard. Sugar Plum has so many options. From nuts to spices and desserts! Easy to order and easy to make the person on your list very happy.

Nieces, nephews & general young people - Candy never goes wrong, but I say give it to them with something that they have to do to earn the candy. Books. Now, my kids get excited for every new book, where we buy it, get it sent to us, or check it out from the library. Here are a few of my favorites from new and upcoming authors.

The Book of Awesome Girls: Why the Future Is Female - I keep this one on my work desk for inspo.

An uncensored history of girl power. Before they were seasoned women, little feminists were changing society and inspiring future generations. At seventeen, Malala Yousafzai was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Days after her thirteenth birthday, Anne Frank began writing one of the most poignant glimpses of Nazi occupation. Packed with mini biographies of big she-ros, The Book of Awesome Girls features famous girls alongside the equally awesome teens omitted from the history books.

With a bonus chapter on girl empowerment today, readers are invited to learn about modern figures like Greta Thunberg and Mari Copeny. According to these famous girls, you don’t have to be of voting age to make a difference. Their true stories reveal that real difference begins by standing up and working hard. Discover our amazing author on Mango!

Take a look at what the future holds—and how women are making it better. In The Future of Science is Female, author and award-winning journalist Zara Stone shares the fascinating, complicated stories of how a diverse group of powerful women got started—from the perspective of those still working it out as they go along. Take 22-year old Dominique Barnes, a female hero of the oceans. She was worried about all the dolphins and whales killed during shrimp farming, so the marine biologist created a tasty, affordable plant-based shrimp alternative. And she's just one of the sheroes you will discover in The Future of Science is Female.

Real encouragement and inspiration for today's amazing girls. Forget the "ivory tower" of accomplishment. Learn about the drama, tears, and adventures everyday women heroes face as they race to fix everything the world has messed up. Discover our amazing author on Mango!

Rhoda the Alligator is the debut read-out-loud children’s book by former U.S. Senator (Florida) Bob Graham. The book tells the story of Rhoda, a uniquely colored alligator who is trying to find her place in the wild world of the Florida Everglades National Park. Filled with beautiful illustrations, Rhoda the Alligator teaches pre-school and kindergarten children about the beauty of our differences and the hurt that bullying can inflict.

Teach your 4-6-year-old the importance of diversity and the environment. Rhoda is born with a distinct color unlike any other alligator in the Everglades. She is blue and orange, shining with colors. Rhoda’s parents celebrate her brightness. However, when Rhoda meets the other young gators in the Everglades she is bullied because of her appearance. Using powerful lessons from her environment, Rhoda is able to overcome the hurt and hardship, embrace her true colors, and educate and transform her bullies. Discover our amazing author on Mango!

The Bedtime Dance

Throughout the colorful pages, Steuer shows readers that when the sun goes down and it is time to sleep, they can do the bedtime dance and sing to the beat. “The Bedtime Dance” follows a young boy and girl as they are getting ready for bed and the nightly routine that makes going to sleep more enjoyable. Told through rhyming poems, Steuer’s story will have little ones dancing, stretching and then unwinding as they get ready to go to bed.

And for my local Oklahomans, I highly recommend getting the 2021 Friends of the Oklahoma Governor's Manion Ornament. The 2021 Oklahoma ornament features a wreath and berries, complete with a white ribbon with "Oklahoma 2021" imprinted on it and the beautiful state bird of Oklahoma, the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher. Scissor-tailed Flycatchers are easily identified by their long scissor-like tail that opens and shuts during flight and folds or closes when perching. Oklahoma designated the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher as the official state bird in 1951. The ornament design characteristics are elegant and delicate, making it a thoughtful gift or a great addition to your Christmas tree. My tree is full of these ornaments from the last decade! The ornaments are a great collectible piece and can be purchased online
