Since I entered into my twenties (seven years ago), reading has been a passion of mine. Its as if I am catching up for lost time. You see, when I was young, I had no interest in reading, just didn't grab my attention. But now, when I have an open weekend or Selah is down for a nap, I tend to crack open a book.

I will admit a hardback book tends to be my favorite, but I enjoy the ability to read late at night with my e-reader, and you might consider it cheating, but with a 35-mile drive twice a day to and from work, audiobooks have made the commute much more enjoyable.

Okay, I am rambling, let me get to the point of this post. Let's talk celebrity audiobooks!

Now, I am not talking reality stars or one hit wonders book; I am talking about the celebrities that you just know, that if you meet them, you would be great friends. I am talking about my friends Amy, Tina, Mindy, Jim and Kunal.

Now as a recommendation, I suggest these books on audio. They are read by the authors. Therefore you feel like you hear it all as a casual conversation. You get more from the audiobook reading; the sound effects, their tone and overall delivery, just makes you love them and laugh more.

Here are my top 5 celebrity audio books!

1. Bossypants by Tina Fey
2. Yes Please by Amy Poehler
3. Why Not Me by Mindy Kaling
4. Food: A Love Story by Jim Gaffigan
5. Yes, My Accent Is Real by Kunal Nayyar
I also recommend, Where Did You Go Bernadette? It is read by a familiar voice, which makes it very enjoyable. It is read by Kathleen Wilhoite, who played Luke's sister on Gilmore Girls. I promise you it is a fun read that made my commute enjoyable.

With my commute, I tend to go through two books a week, so I will be sure to post my next set in the coming months.

Next on my list...

1. After You by Joji Moyes
2. Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes
3. Sh*t My Dad Says by Justin Halpern
4. Bare Bones by Bobby Bones

I also will be sharing soon my top 20 e-reader books that cost $5 each!
