Okay, so any other mamas have kids that add a bunch of vegetables or fruits to the shopping cart, but then all of sudden refuses to try any of it? I assume, not just mine.

So I've had to get creative...

Whether you are a parent looking to add more fruits and vegetables into your kid’s (husband's) meals or a busy professional looking for simple ways to improve your diet, here are some tips on how to add more nutrition to everyday meals:

1. Make homemade pizza with an eggplant crust or start off small and switch the frozen pizza to a gluten-free or cauliflower crust pizza.
2. Add chopped or shredded zucchini, carrots and/or squash to your spaghetti dishes.
3. Fold chopped cauliflower into your mac ‘n’ cheese or go BIG and do cauliflower rice (easy to find the pantry or frozen aisle).
4. Blend some banana and spinach with your chocolate protein shake...I swear put it in a pretty cup with a fun straw and all of sudden it is the best thing you've made.
5. Make these homemade fruit popsicles the whole family is sure to enjoy.
