Now, thankfully I am still in the toddler and baby stages, but it is very easy to see how much technology will be part of my kid's lives. My sweet three-year-old already knows how to use the remote to click the "continue watching" button on Netflix :)

But, recently I shared with The Oklahoma 100 some top apps parents can use to help give them peace of mind when it comes to tech usage for tweens and teens.

Parents across America continue to worry about the apps their children and teens download. Here are two apps that can give parents peace of mind.

• Allows parents to monitor a device discretely.
• Scans all recorded data and highlights items deemed to be risky.
• Makes recorded data available for parental review at any time.
• Gives parents the ability to block apps entirely or override all restrictions temporarily, for a “free play” period.
• Includes a pause button parents can press on their own smartphones. The button “pauses” their kids’ devices remotely.

• Allows parents to set time limits on apps.
